This data is used solely to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare the rental contract. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Who has access

Messages are delivered by the Web3Forms service, acting as a processor, which does not keep them beyond their transmission. Data is never sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that lead to nothing are kept for one year. Data relating to an actual booking is kept for one year, in line with applicable accounting obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you. To exercise these rights, write to gitedescalmettes@outlook.com. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Cookies and trackers

This site sets no advertising cookies and uses no analytics tool.

Your choice between light and dark mode is stored in your browser's local storage. That information never leaves your device and counts as a strictly necessary tracker, exempt from consent.

Two external services are called when pages are displayed: Google Fonts, for typefaces, and Google Calendar, for the availability calendar. Loading them sends your IP address to Google, which may set its own cookies as part of the calendar.

Right of withdrawal

Under Article L221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, accommodation services supplied on a specific date or for a specific period are not subject to the right of withdrawal. No fourteen-day cooling-off period therefore applies to your booking. The cancellation terms are those set out in the rental contract.
